Description of Opportunity:Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are appointed by juvenile court judges to work directly with children who are in the court system for abuse and/or neglect. CASAs work directly with our Guardian Ad Litem attorneys to help advocate for the children in court. CASAs need no specialized experience, just a desire to help children in need.
Special Requirements:Volunteers must be at least 21, able to pass a background check and able to commit to a year of service. 32 hours of pre-service training is required.
