January 29, 1969 - November 1, 2025 (age 56)
Chryl Lynn Nielson, beloved daughter of LaMonte and Chryl Nielson passed from earthly life on November 1, 2025 at the age of 56 years. At the time of her death, she resided in Brigham City Utah. Lynn was born on January 29, 1969 at Coos Bay, Oregon to Chryl and Dwight Pelca her biological mother and father. Lynn was adopted by her current father, Lamonte, and sealed to both parents in 1976.
Lynn attended school at Bennion Elementary, Bennion Jr. High, Taylorsville High, Salt City Community College, and Stevens-Henager College. She was a registered CNA. At an early age Lynn discovered a talent for singing, and that became an important part of her life. From high school chorus to local choral groups, she filled her life with singing. She sang a lot of solos in church and at funerals. When she moved with her family to Florida, she worked as a host at the Kennedy Space Center and as a CNA at a local nursing home. While outside so much, she got skin cancer and was treated in Tampa Florida. She was pronounced cancer free after a couple of years treatments. After returning to Utah, she got a job in Roosevelt in the medical field and came back to Brigham City to be with her parents.
Lynn loved animals and got a cat, Whiskers, who was her loving companion until her death. At the time of death, Lynn was a resident living at the Brigham City Commons.
She is preceded in death and now reunited with her mother, Chryl Nielson and brother, Kyle Nielson.
She is survived by her father, LaMonte Nielson; sisters, Wendy Cutler, Ruth Moller, Beth Perry, and Kim Corsello.
Her remains will be buried at the Nielson family plot in Milton Morgan County Cemetery.
A family service will held in her remembrance.
