LOGAN – Comic Willie Macc will bring his standup artistry to the LionHeart Hall for one-night only on Nov. 29.
“Our show is the final stop of Willie Macc’s ‘Happy Valley Utah Comedy Tour’,” according to Travis Leonhardt, co-owner of Logan’s newest performance venue. “So he’s sure to go out with a bang!”
Unlike the Utah-based Dry Bar comics who have performed previously at LionHeart Hall, Macc is a standup artist who has toured nationally.
Macc is both a comedian and an actor. After cutting his teeth in the Black Entertainment Television network’s reality show College Hill Virgin Islands in 2007, he appeared on multiple episodes of Crime Scene Investigations (CSI), numerous national commercials and guest starred in the 2008 spoof Meet the Spartans.
Macc made his professional standup comedy debut at the famous BB Kings at Universal Walk in Los Angeles on July 31, 2007. Since then, he has continued to hone his comic skills by performing standup comedy routines in and around Los Angeles for both teen and adult audiences, as well as touring throughout the United States.
The “Happy Valley Utah Comedy Tour” is a series of live stand-up comedy shows and events produced by a Utah-based company. The company hosts weekly shows featuring local and national touring comedians across multiple cities in Utah, including Salt Lake City, Provo, Orem, Park City, St. George and Logan.
The shows vary in content, with some specifically promoted as "clean and family friendly," while others may be rated for mature audiences. Leonhardt assures Cache Valley audiences that Macc’s performance here will be G-Rated.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. Willie Macc appearance in Logan on Nov. 29 can be purchased at the door for $20 each.
LionHeart Hall is located at 480 North, 100 East in Logan.
